After a relaxing week at Texel we did a Tour des Pays-Bas in one weekend - seeing friends and family. We started off with an evening in Amsterdam and my aunt Agnes' famous pink bed.
Followed by a reunion with Mayo & Trix in Bergschenhoek and a trip on the Rotte and Rottemeren.
By lunch time Duuk was dancing on the table.
And on the way back the kids slept and we caught up and got to see fortunately some progress again on the rebuilt on their new house (the 1st built was burnt down by someone a few weeks before being ready - long bad story!)
Following that we had dinner in our local Basaal followed by some last few hours for this trip with the big cousins from Cappelle on the Kijkduin beach the next morning.
Duuk was pretty pleased meeting both his aunties finally!
From the beach we made our way to the de Woude to see Jonas & Tjitske who had finally escaped the ghetto. Lovely to see them, their charming and cool boys and amazing adventure garden.
Kaat and Rick learned all sorts of bad things but where so happy and had such fun that we could not deny them any of it. Just don't let Rick with a supersoaker near your chickens ever again -;)
Kaatje was in love with the big boys and little Duuk was happy in the arms of the biggest of them all - the whole afternoon.
We wrapped up the weekend with a Monday in the Hague. Doing a bizarre visa interview for Duuk (with/by Duuk) at the Indian consulate in the Hague about which more some other time.
Duuk clearly felt at home at 't Groenewegje too!
