In Hawaii we spend > 2 weeks with 2 little kids in Hotel Rooms and Restaurants. No normal routine to speak off. Our scores: days with proper nap time in the room in a bed 0, days back in the hotel room and kids in bed before 9pm: 0, days Rick ate any veggies at dinner: 1? (fortunately he ate loads of banana's), days everyone slept in the same bed for the whole night: 0, days we started before 8am: 2 or 3 when we had a morning commitment only. But it all worked and everyone was happy so what?!
Kaat loved the menu's wherever we went
and cleaned the floors everywhere too
As we lost a stroller on the flight to Honolulu we picked one up at a garage sale for 10 USD. Rick slept just as easily for 1.5 hours in that rusty wobbly thing
as he would spend the night in his private queen
maybe our big boy is not as big as we think!
happy chaos in the hotel room
Kaat was definitely our entertainer at dinner
or my bodywarmer
Rick also was either 'on' or 'off'
Kaat got used to being parked everywhere
and Rick was totally happy with the Asian influences as he could get drum sticks every place we went for dinner - only if they would have an aquarium too would he forfeit on the drumming.
It appears our little ones are doing just fine in the wandering lifestyle
