Before we moved I had bought the kids a kitchen for here. So yesterday morning, when our planned date with Rick's Houstonian class mate (with a Bangalore native father) fell through we decided that should be enough spare hours to put it together. Manju, our driver, who had showed early, was also eager to help and so where Rick & Kaat of course. Bliss for me as I had at least 90 min undisturbed 'me' time.
Plenty of pieces and Kaat ran off with all the handle bars.
Eelco said Manju has two left hands when it comes to DIY but makes up for it in enthusiasm! Rick was the most serious of all.
And so in the few hours we have been 'home alone' this weekend the kids have been cooking. Somehow the whole bag with play food items went missing so there are lots of tools, lots of cups & plates etc.......and french fries to cook. Guess what we have been served?!
