Despite his manic schedule and the extensive stakeholder management Sint had to get engaged in lately on the Pieten issue, he did find the time to also come to Bangalore. Rick was preparing Kaat by reading the big Pieten-book to her.
Last weekend on Dec 1st we all where requested to come to someone's house on Palm Meadows and where told any type of Pieten support would be much appreciated. I arrived just that morning off a flight from Amsterdam (no Sint was not on that same flight, I really looked!) and was a little grey in the face and super sleepy. Rick & Kaat were ready though!
We where some of the first to arrive, together with all the new and existing BFFs (Best Friends Forever) - Tandia, Coen & Kenan (Enzi is also somewhere and Coen's sister Fleur).
Duuk decided he was/is big enough to join the big kids too.
It was not entirely clear how Sint would get in so the kids did some running around the compound to find him.
And then there he was!
Sint knew all about Rick & Kaat's love for pirates and princess dresses and even had seen Rick running around with his swords at Windmills, the good man really keeps track of everything!. He also wanted to feel Rick's '14 muscles'.
Duuk showed off his 2 new teeth to Sint with a big grin.
And Kaat befriended the Pieten to do some 'upside down'.
Sint could not stay too long, and Rick and Kaat where really sad when he left.
Fortunately Sint left the Pieten behind to distribute some presents. It was a good training in patience for Kaat as she was the very last to get hers.
Even Duuk got some and one of my colleagues helped him unwrap it all.
Sint really is the best - he got them exactly what they wanted - wow!
