On our trip to the Ellora and Ajanta caves (about which later more) we stayed in Aurangabad. The main sight in Aurangabad itself is the Bibi Ka Maqbara, a small version (and not as intricate) of the Taj Mahal, the tomb of the first wife of one of the Moghuls Aurangzeb. His mother is the one for whom the actual Taj Mahal in Agra was built.
So before we made it out to the caves we first made a quick visit to the Bibi Ka Magbara:
