After Eelco had been away for 2 kids they were worried he would disappear again in the middle of the night (all flights from Bangalore are almost night flights and hence we tend to leave the house for business trips after bed time). So as soon as they hear anything during the night they would wake up and climb in our bed. Some days it got so bad one of us moved to the kids beds or the couch.
Now we are back to an everyone sleeps in their own bed routine, including Duuk, who certainly now is too tall for the middle - considering he also adheres to the 'baby sleeps always perpendicular' rule.
